A book based mainly on recordings made by the Museum’s Oral History Group, and contains individual, and often unique, memories of Topsham over the past century, illustrated with black and white photographs. Topics covered include: the town; the estuary; employment; society; local activities; the Second World War; and the railway. It is not intended to be a comprehensive account, but rather the personal recollections of a number of people who have known the town over the years.
