In 1588, Topsham ships Bartholomew, Gift and Rose were part of the English fleet that defeated the Spanish Armada. A fourth ship, Grace of God, also took part in the battle and all four now feature on the Topsham flag. Once again the iconic Lockdown Fox makes an appearance in our 2024 Topsham Museum Christmas card.
